Visual Storytelling

Sometimes it’s a light stroke hitting a table, or a window covered in drops of water, gently distorting what’s on the other side. Other times, it’s someone’s smile, a small moment between strangers in a park. Even busy rolling stairs, in the middle of chaos, can form a pattern if you stop long enough to look.

Creativity usually starts with messiness — not a bad one, but a good kind. One where things simply need to be sorted to begin making sense. To organise the chaos in my head, I research and explore, slowly finding a line to follow before anything takes form.

Speed can be great, but quality matters too. Not as perfection, but as respect for the process. Intention is what gives weight to the work. I understand the idea that “done is better”, and I agree — as part of a learning curve, not as the only way forward. Creating with purpose feels more honest, and beauty often appears in the in-between.

this little one is still inside me
