How the solution meets the brief
The Honest Talks visual system established a recognisable, flexible and emotionally resonant framework. It supported lead generation goals while strengthening brand clarity, thematic alignment and audience trust across multiple retreat funnels.

Typography
A custom wordmark was developed specifically for Honest Talks.
The intention was to give the series its own visual authority, clearly distinguish it from other WWS events and support a higher perceived value, while remaining accessible to a general audience.
Layout & composition
Strong typographic hierarchy and minimal layout variation ensured fast recognition across channels, allowing to stand out in de middle of the very saturated WWS feed and different aesthetic typically used on wellness and Spirituality contexts.
Visual System
Color palette
A deep blue acts as the constant foundation of the series, reinforcing continuity and recognisability. Each quarter adapts the secondary palette to align with the retreat funnel in focus. This system allows thematic variation without breaking the overall identity.









Concept & Creative Direction
Creative insight
The core insight was the tension between inspiration and discomfort. Honest Talks addresses themes people rarely speak about openly, subjects often surrounded by shame, silence or emotional resistance. The visual language needed to reflect that friction rather than soften it.
Storytelling
Each edition focuses on a different theme, but the overarching narrative remains consistent: bringing what is hidden, avoided or uncomfortable into awareness. Rather than explaining each topic literally, the visuals aim to create a felt response, mirroring the inner discomfort these subjects often provoke.
Visual intent
A moody aesthetic built around movement and instability. The visuals intentionally avoid stillness or clarity, reflecting emotional tension, vulnerability and unease. Motion becomes a key expressive element rather than a decorative one.
